South End

This designer's home needed to suit a number of functions. First, as a showplace for our his fine art collection of paintings, prints, drawings and sculpture, the look must not have been as overwhelming as it easily could have. Well-curated fabrics demonstrate a broad range of textures yet adhere to a unified color palette. Also, as a living and entertaining space, ample, comfortable seating was vital. Particularly challenging was designing a media room which maximizes seating, dampens acoustics, fosters a nesting feeling and conceals unsightly wires and electronic equipment. Being the interior designer on this project was a dream.
